Well, here we have a renewed attempt at terror emanating from the Farc along the Caribbean region of my upcoming new home, Colombia. It seems President Uribe's men have done a reasonably good job of containing the Farc strike, though. I am growing to understand that the Central Andean region of the country is safer and better controlled than the relative peripheral areas approaching the Amazon and toward the coasts...
